How to connect to eduroam - Configuration Assistant Tool - Android

eduroam

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions (https://www.eduroam.org/).

This document provides instructions for connecting a personal device to eduroam at ESMT or another participating institution using your ESMT credentials. If you are visiting from another institution, please use the eduroam configuration instructions and tools provided by your home institution. 

Steps to install

  1. Install eduroamCAT (GÉANT Association) from the Google Play Store.
  2. Then visit https://cat.eduroam.de/?idp=188 in your Android web browser.
  3. Choose your prefferred language.Choose your prefferred language and select ESMT European School of Management and Technology.
  4. Click download. Click download. 
  5. Choose install configuration Choose install configuration
  6. Click install.Click install.
  7. Click Yes. Click Yes.
  8. Type your ESMT login credentials and click Install.Type your ESMT login credentials and click Install.
  9. You should now be connected to the eduroam network.
